Job Description Business Management optimizes business performance by helping to drive key initiatives. We act as trusted advisors and counterweights to Business/Group Heads, responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. The role of a business manager is dynamic and varies across different lines of business, aligned with their specific priorities. This is a high-pressure, high-profile position that supports senior management and coordinates the deployment of the bank’s resources to meet strategic and tactical objectives. Job Responsibilities Implement new business strategies, initiatives, or platforms, including aligning departments and support groups (Finance, Tech, Ops, Legal, Compliance). Optimize business performance by driving initiatives related to fees, cost management, RWA, and capital utilization. Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks such as legal, tax, regulatory, capacity, and transaction costs. Analyze financial performance, including expenses, and lead productivity initiatives. Partner with operations and technology to define workflows and implement related projects to meet evolving market needs. Collaborate with external service and infrastructure providers. Represent the business in internal and external working groups. Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics. Previous product knowledge and/or experience in Business Management or COO roles. Energetic, dynamic, and highly motivated. Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Effective presentation skills for senior and global audiences. Ability to build strong internal relationships across functions. Self-motivated, tenacious, and capable of working independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to define and execute strategic agendas across multiple groups. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and present concise conclusions. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
