Job Location Draper, UT - Draper, UTSecondary Job Location(s)Orem, UT - Orem, UT Position Type Full Time Education Level Bachelors/Equivalent Years in Related Field Travel Percentage Up to 25% Job Shift Day Job Category Health CareDescription RISE Services, a nonprofit human services organization, is seeking an Executive Director responsible for overseeing the operations, direction, and management of the Utah departments and programs through the implementation of the RISE Mission, Vision, and Values, and in compliance with all regulations and policies. In this role, the Executive Director will be responsible for implementing the services provided to clients with developmental disabilities. The Executive Director will develop and teach life skills and help clients achieve their goals. They will also have the leadership skills to direct employees on how to teach life skills, as well as lead operations, manage budgets, and staffing. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide management and supervision of coordinators throughout the region. Work as a team to strategize, create, and oversee plans that will provide the best available support for individuals in services. Supervise, train, and oversee the management of regional directors and coordinators. Ensure that the necessary records, logs, and other documentation are maintained as required by RISE and the state. Coach, train, and mentor employees, providing positive leadership and team building based on respect, cooperation, and competency. Effectively advocate for people receiving support. Responsible for proper administration of budgets and financial oversight for the designated region. This position includes being on-call and limited traveling. Teach and develop life skills and provide community activities and opportunities. Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience or a related BA degree in the field of human services with a focus on developmental disabilities. Experience in developing teaching learning skills, social skills, and communication skills. Verbal and written communication skills adequate for the job tasks. Appropriate telephone etiquette and skills. Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology, teaching principles, human behavior, or principles of psychology is useful.
