The Senior Performance Reporting Analyst is a critical part of the Mariner Institutional team, responsible for performance measurement, reporting, investment policy monitoring, investment administration, and projects support for complex client investment plans. This role supports multiple institutional clients and plan types and requires an understanding of time and dollar weighted performance computations and various statistical concepts across public and private investments. The successful associate will be professional with a solid understanding of mathematical computations, investment performance methodologies, and risk statistics. Responsibilities

Onboarding and setup of new clients including internal systems setup, historical performance input, and report creation Calculate and reconcile performance with investment managers and custodians Create, maintain, and generate client reports on a monthly and quarterly basis Monitors adherence of the client’s plan to the investment policy statement Provides client investment administration and project support Mentors and provides training to team members Participates in other department initiatives as directed by the Performance Reporting Director or Managing Director Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university CFA Investment Foundations Program required within 6 months of start date, or enrollment in CIPM or CFA program 6 years of relevant professional experience preferred Skills and Knowledge

Works with a high degree of accuracy and detail orientation Displays the ability to be highly organized and flexible with multiple priorities and changing deadlines Ability to think critically and solve problems leveraging available resources Solid understanding of mathematical computations, with exceptional knowledge in investment performance methodologies and risk statistics Solid understanding of the global investment industry including, but not limited to financial markets, participants and organizations, asset classes, investment instruments and vehicle types, and understanding of economics concepts High level of aptitude for software systems and Microsoft Office. Specifically, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe/Foxit Excellent verbal and written communication skills, delivered to a variety of audiences (clients/peers/Advisors, etc.) Mariner is a top-ranked, national wealth advisory firm with locations across the United States.
