About The Arrow Fund Founded in March 2013, The Arrow Fund (TAF), named in honor of Aiden, a Labrador shot at close range with a hunting arrow, became the first organization in Kentucky to specialize in rehabilitating severe cruelty cases. Today, our mission is to provide veterinary care and support to animal victims of extreme torture, abuse, and neglect; increase public awareness of animal cruelty; encourage criminal prosecution of abusers; and support efforts for a more humane world for animals. We provide fostering, rehoming, and public education on animal cruelty and its links to human violence. We are the only organization in Kentucky specializing in abuse and neglected animals, helping many animals transition from horror to healing.

The Opportunity The Arrow Fund seeks an Executive Director (ED) to lead its strategic vision, daily operations, and fundraising efforts. The ED will work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure organizational sustainability, develop and implement fundraising strategies, and oversee operations including animal care, volunteer coordination, and compliance. This role offers a unique chance to engage directly with rescued animals and shape the organization’s future. The ED will manage a $500,000 budget and collaborate with a dedicated team and board members committed to growth.
