Our client, an American retailer that owns and operates four well-known brands, is hiring a Sample Merchandise Coordinator to join their visual merchandising team in San Francisco, CA.

As a Merchandising Assistant on this team, you will be responsible for managing studio operations and checking in samples. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with retail and apparel samples! Requirements: 1+ years of experience in retail, studio, or sample management preferred. Strong organizational and planning skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Excel, email, and the ability to quickly learn new systems. Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong sense of accountability and attention to detail, especially regarding data accuracy. What You Will Do: Manage and organize seasonal product samples for use by the creative studio and visual merchandising team. Track sample arrivals, maintain accurate records, and communicate any delays or issues to the appropriate teams. Assemble and maintain sample racks and closets to ensure accessibility and organization. Support studio set preparation and maintain overall studio cleanliness and efficiency. Assist with seasonal projects and coordinate sample donations in collaboration with the visual merchandising team. Prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines and support team goals.
