Director of Business Development

What You’ll Be Doing
Drive New Business: Identify, qualify, and close deals with hospitals and physician groups across all UMS service lines. You’ll present clinical and financial business models that make sense — and get signatures. Contract Pro: Lead negotiations, revise and present proformas, and manage subscription agreements for new and existing partnerships. Expand Existing Accounts: Dive deep into partnership health — renew contracts, renegotiate terms, and identify cross-sell opportunities. Strategic Collaborator: Work closely with leadership and operations to implement partnership strategies, align performance metrics, and drive long-term success. Data-Driven Seller: Leverage Salesforce to track pipelines, update forecasts, and report performance metrics. Partnership Builder: Represent UMS at trade shows and conferences, and build relationships with key decision makers in the urology space.
What You Bring To The Table
Bachelor’s degree required 5+ years of B2B sales success in medical devices, mobile services, or related healthcare sectors Experience in Urology sales highly preferred Demonstrated success working with physician groups, hospitals, and partnership/contract-based sales models A strategic thinker and confident communicator who thrives in fast-paced, high-impact roles Knowledge of hospital purchasing and healthcare decision-making processes is a plus Willingness to travel 50–75% (nationally)
