. Summary The

Manager/Senior Manager, Manufacturing Projects

will be responsible for leading a team in the progression of projects for manufacturing operations through completion by interacting with key stakeholders and technical teams. This position plans, coordinates, directs, manages, and administers manufacturing project teams; and supports and represents the Manufacturing team on design and construction activities in support of growth initiatives at AGC Biologics.

Additionally this position is responsible for monitoring budgets and schedules, maintaining all project records, requests for information, correspondence, and acts as the owner's representative on assigned projects.

Principal Responsibilities

· Provide mentorship and coaching to staff within the Manufacturing team · Represent the interests of the Manufacturing team, serve in multidisciplinary project teams, working closely with other team members in a cooperative fashion to ensure project progression · Provide program direction for planning, organizing, developing, and integrating manufacturing projects across multiple functional areas. · Closely monitor/control project progression to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget. · Report project progress to all key stakeholders. · Support the technical team to investigate any project challenges with necessary risk assessment tools and techniques then implements corrective measures. · Serve as liaison with different team members; manages day-to-day communications, and organizes project team meetings. · Serve as liaison with engineering, quality and manufacturing, consultants and contractors. · Represent company in project meetings; prepares meeting agenda and minutes, and follows up on action items. · Evaluate and assess project results and provides recommendations for future improvement. · Effectively build project teams. · Work closely with team members across all AGC Biologics related business units and with the management team to ensure coordination of all efforts and real-time communication with all stakeholders. · Drive any manufacturing related projects and make sure deadlines and deliveries are met in a timely manner. · Establish & drive team dashboard for management and user interface. · Collaborate with internal partners to build a comprehensive framework and track progress on any manufacturing related project. · Assess resources required and resolve cross-functional conflicts. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education / Experience

· BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related scientific discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Manager Level: 8+ years’ overall experience in clinical or commercial Manufacturing or Process Development with a preference toward biopharmaceutical or other regulated industries. Senior Manager Level: 10+ years’ overall experience in clinical or commercial Manufacturing or Process Development with a preference toward biopharmaceutical or other regulated industries. · Manager Level: 2+ years of experience managing people. Senior Manager Level: 5+ years of experience managing people. · Experience leading projects within a manufacturing environment · Proficiency in use of computer software applications, e.g. Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, etc · Experience using quality management software (Trackwise) preferred. COMPENSATION RANGE: $108,080 - $170,940 Fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Benefits available to Team Members include subsidized insurance for the Team Member and designated dependents (medical, vision, dental, life and disability), eligibility to participate in the AGC Biologics 401(k) plan (including a generous matching contribution from the company and immediate vesting), vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Team Members are also eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus commensurate to the level of the role. The payout is based on both the company’s performance and the Team Member’s performance.
