Salary Range: $96,000 to $115,000 Without the strength of our Quality team, we would not be able to offer the industry-leading service we’re known for. We’re seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor Professional. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as a Quality Supervisor. As a strong communicator and skilled hands-on Quality Supervisor, you will communicate expectations clearly, triage tasks appropriately, and train employees on the latest product standards to ensure the highest safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. Therefore, all products and services meet or exceed government, industry, and company specifications. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES : Perform managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees. Manage finished product and raw material testing procedures at manufacturing and transload locations. Develop, implement, and review quality programs and procedures. Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA departments, and support groups (e.g., Logistics, Warehouse) for cGMP compliance and quality systems. Resolve questions related to products, specifications, rework, complaints, and regulatory requirements. Maintain safety procedures in the laboratory. Record product and process audits, and oversee quality system implementation. Coordinate product failure analysis, corrective actions, and customer feedback reports. Ensure inspector plans are adequate. Set and communicate objectives regularly. Organize workflow, assign responsibilities, and prepare schedules. Oversee and coach employees. Submit performance and progress reports. Identify efficiency issues and suggest improvements. REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES : Organizational and leadership skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Problem-solving skills Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or other status) EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : 3-4 years of relevant experience Aerospace background preferred Experience with composite and metallic structures is a plus Proficiency in English (reading, speaking, writing) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Constant standing, walking, or sitting for at least 8 hours Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs (minimum 35 lbs) Dexterity to operate office equipment Good vision at approximately 20 inches or less (corrective lenses permitted) Repetitive movement and manual handling skills required WORK ENVIRONMENT : Warehouse, shop, or manufacturing environment TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS : Occasional travel may be required As a federal contractor, Karman Space & Defense complies with all employment eligibility requirements and participates in E-Verify to confirm employment authorization.
