We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to join our team at XenoSTART, a division of START focused on creating relevant preclinical cancer models. This remote role involves understanding XenoSTART's unique selling proposition and translating it into effective solutions for customers, managing and exceeding performance objectives in an assigned territory or accounts. Responsibilities include: Meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets Expanding share of studies at existing clients Acquiring new clients in partnership with the demand generation team Building client commitment throughout the sales process Participating in contract review and developing account plans Managing client interactions via Hubspot CRM Collaborating with Finance on forecasts Qualifications: 5+ years of solution sales experience in pharma/biotech, supporting pre-clinical or animal trials Bachelor’s degree required; sciences degree preferred Strong interpersonal, persuasive, and analytical skills Proven success in building relationships and achieving goals Additional info: Remote work with up to 40% travel, including Europe Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 + commission, dependent on experience Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), life/disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, and a collaborative work environment.
