Job Description As the Site Construction Manager, this individual will oversee and direct all field construction activities for projects typically valued over $500 Million, ensuring conformance with plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. This role requires extensive knowledge of construction, the ability to manage complex situations, and to lead construction staff and contractors effectively to meet project objectives. The position may also be called Manager IV, Construction. Ensure compliance with Fluor Operating System Requirements (OSR), Operating System Implementation plan (OSIP), and other business line standards. Execute construction activities in accordance with drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety standards. Manage project schedule and budget, optimizing resources. Monitor productivity and costs, implementing corrective actions as needed. Promote a safety culture on the project site. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Job Requirements
Four-year degree or equivalent in a relevant field and 20 years of experience, or 24 years of combined education and related experience. Effective communication skills with diverse audiences. Technical knowledge necessary for the role. Ability to understand and apply relevant laws and standards. Attention to detail and efficiency. Other Job Requirements
Experience in EPC on medium to large data center projects, focusing on Construction Management. Experience managing quality and commissioning of data centers. Leadership of project staff including managers and supervisors across various functions. Coordination of activities within the site and with external offices. Ensuring work compliance within scope and standards. Accountability to senior management, clients, and community. Preferred Qualifications
Proven customer service and client relations skills. Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and leadership skills. Proficiency in basic computer software. Knowledge in project controls, human and industrial relations, and contract management. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. We are an equal opportunity employer.
