Are you an experienced paralegal and/or contracts management professional? In this role you will join our Head of Legal in building out the contracts function for a rapidly growing family of manufacturing businesses. If the following sounds like you please apply now! What you get to do
Assist with corporate filings, including formation and dissolution of entities. Conduct research and analysis of legal issues relating to the business. Develop contract templates based on evolving business needs and customer contracting strategies. Evaluate current contracts to determine risks and necessary revisions resulting from changes in policy, strategy, legal guidance, and new products. Ensure contract terms and conditions are compliant with applicable laws and regulations and accurately reflect company intent and strategy. Manage contract workflows in cloud-based contract management system. Communicate and present information to partners about contract-related matters. Gather and preserve data, documents, and information to drive the legal department’s responses to discovery requests and subpoenas. Maintain corporate records and manage document databases. Assist with regulatory compliance, including preparing and filing regulatory reports. Draft and review legal correspondence, agreements, and other legal documents. Participate in special projects and successfully lead change within the organization as needed. What you bring to the Team
Prior paralegal or contract manager experience Preferred qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication with a proven track record of building relationships and interacting with senior leaders and external customers. Experience with Ironclad contract management platform. Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills across cross functional teams in a highly matrixed role – significant partnership required with extended partners across the various Re:Build businesses. Understand of contracting challenges with ability to develop effective solutions. Capable of working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
