Position Summary: Reporting to the SVP, HRResearch, Development & Commercialization(RDC), the HRStrategy & Operations Lead for RDCwill establish, manage, and govern the HR project management framework enabling execution of complex multi-year projects and people initiativesand our long-term strategy to bringthe RDC Evolution to life.This role is a key member of the RDCPeople Leadership Teamand will serve as the Lead for ourRDC People Operating Model. and Chief of Staff to SVP,RDC People Org

Provide strategy & operations leadership to RDCPeople Leadership Team to drive business performance through focused shaping and execution of our short-term and long-term strategic priorities.

Provide strategic guidance and consultative capacity on initiatives to SVP, RDC People Org and the RDC People Leadership Team

Leadstransformational initiatives that impact the entire organization. Partners with the RDCHRLT and executive stakeholders to rapidly organize, launch, and govern major initiatives.

Own and partner with SVP & Senior HR Coordinator to manage aggregate RDC People Orgfinances in partnership with Finance to ensure budget attainment and strategic planning (budget, April and September projection, tax, financial reporting, etc.)

EnsuringRDC People Org optimizes the People Operating Model (Center of Excellence (CoE) and People Service) and a key member of the RDCPLT

Represent RDCon a range of enterprise-wide initiatives (e.g., Future of Work)

Collaborates across the OP Model (CoE’s, People Services) to articulate business needs and partners in delivering solutions in ways that bring value across the enterprise

Defines and leads change management efforts to ensure delivery of organizational solutions, programs, and deliverables

Takes a leadership role in creating a respectful and inclusive work environment while role-modeling the BMS Behaviors and fostering cultural diversity.

Translatesmetrics and analytics to inform and influence the overall organization’s direction to drive business performanceand efficiency whilstensuring ongoing engagement. Applies “systems thinking” and leads changefor effectiveness of organization performance through the use of metrics and analytics in a way that drives business performance.

Leveragesinsights and trends to support business talent and organization decisions to drive overall organizational effectiveness

Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred

10 years of experience within management consulting, business strategy, business operations or HR related fields

8 Years of Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or healthcare industry experience, strongly desired

Proven success in working effectively at senior management levels to impact and influence decision making and in supporting global organizations

Experience in the use of metrics and analytics in a way that drives business performance

Experience in leading change management efforts including defining change and communication plans

Demonstrated experience in applying workforce planning knowledge, engagement strategies, and succession management

Proven application in leveraging business acumen and external insights to improve business and talent outcomes

Knowledge of external trends and factors that influence human behaviors and decision-making at the individual, group, and organizational level

Proven experience in working effectively within a matrixed environment and building alignment in a cross functional and team environment

The starting compensation for this jobis a range from $188,000 - $228,000 , plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation will be decidedbased on demonstratedexperience. Eligibility for specific benefits listed on our careers site may vary based on the job and location.
