This individual will have a passion for leadership, a strong understanding of ag/commercial lending, and an acute focus on driving business development. Relocation to St. Peter is an important consideration for this position. Key Responsibilities in the Market President Role:
Leadership and Team Management: Leading, motivating and managing team members to achieve bank goals and growth targets. Supervising market lenders and support staff, providing regular performance feedback, and ensuring that staffing schedules are maintained. Business Development: Actively participate and lead business development activities in the St. Peter Market. Loan and Deposit Portfolio Management: Build and manage the market's loan and deposit portfolios; ensuring loan quality and balancing customer service with asset quality. Sales and Performance Management: Expertly master, implement and lead goal focused sales and performance management; ensuring precise and timely tracking of sales data for all team members. Community Engagement: Represent the bank in the community and encourage staff to participate in service, civic, and community activities. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring all activities comply with bank policies, procedures and governmental regulatory laws and regulation. Uphold accountability to the systems and processes utilized by all bank employees.
