The role involves working with Financial Aid Advisors, Program Administrators, Student Accounts, Enrollment Services, the University Office of Financial Assistance, and University Enterprise Information Systems to provide administrative support and leadership. Duties
Department Management and Supervision:
In conjunction with the Director of Student Financials, lead the Financial Aid department ensuring policies and procedures are maintained, supervise staff across two schools, and ensure compliance and professional development. Loan and Financial Aid Processing:
Oversee processing of federal and private loans, monitor disbursements, resolve eligibility issues, process returns of funds, and stay updated on federal regulations. Other Duties:
Attend workshops, participate in committees, uphold university mission, and perform other assigned tasks. Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree plus 5-10 years of financial aid experience or 7-10 years of experience 3+ years of supervision experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of PeopleSoft and financial aid software In-depth knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs Strong organizational and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree Over 5 years supervisory experience Offers are contingent upon background checks. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position with an expected pay range of $77,000 - $82,000 annually. Pepperdine is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
