At Momentum, we believe in delivering solutions to our clients that are anchored in insights and analytics. This is a key leadership role on the Analytics team. The Associate Director, Analytics will be responsible for pioneering and developing proprietary measurement tools/systems, implementing and interpreting models that feed insights, and developing ROI models that contribute to the overall success of our clients' brand experiences.
The ideal candidate should be intellectually curious, have an evidence-based approach to decision-making, share a positive point of view, and be excited by challenges. Prior experience in marketing analytics, particularly within the CPG space, is required. Experience in category management is preferred but not mandatory.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)
Support data-driven insight development and measurement directly with the Commerce team.
Lead the development of data integration and ingestion strategies to support analytics projects and dashboards.
Manage regular reporting across multiple clients and identify opportunities to expand analytics tools and scope.
Engage in discussions with other teams regarding analytics and data science opportunities, including technology and implementation plans.
Guide cross-organizational planning on new data sources, models, and translating technical requirements into business impact.
Develop expertise in business rules and strategies for each client to ensure data integrity.
Manage and develop direct reports.
Serve as an Analytics and Data Strategy subject matter expert internally and externally.
Oversee analytics deliverables, including data collection and analysis from various sources.
Collaborate across functions, working with leadership, project managers, creatives, and clients to foster a data-driven culture.
Derive and present actionable insights from campaign and experience performance reports aligned with client goals.
Create documentation to track methodological and business rule changes.
Coordinate with research partners to provide top-tier research and integrate data sources.
Stay updated on new technologies, vendor capabilities, and client opportunities.

HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics, or related field preferred.
5-8 years of proven experience in analytics and measurement.
Experience leading client discussions and managing relationships.
Leadership experience managing Analysts and/or Data Scientists.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Slides/Sheets, SQL, R/Python.
Experience with Data Visualization, storytelling, and presentation.
Proficiency with IRI, Nielsen, or similar purchase data tools.
Understanding of the CPG industry and retail environment.
Experience developing analytics/BI/data products.
Knowledge of media/marketing analytics, media mix modeling, attribution, and ROI.
Familiarity with data structures and process design (preferred).
Strategic mindset aligned with business goals.
