Group Home Director

to join our team. Job Summary The Director will model ADEC’s core values daily, providing leadership and oversight of the Residential Program to ensure excellent services, compliance with regulations, and achievement of ADEC’s mission. The role reports to the Chief Programming Officer and supervises Group Home Managers, QIDPs, and administrative staff. The Director is a key member of the Program/Service Leadership Team. Essential Functions

Drive initiatives aligned with ADEC’s mission, fostering person-centered care and community engagement. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and maintain necessary accreditations. Lead efforts to sustain the group homes, stay informed on federal and state trends, and pursue program excellence. Promote a positive workplace culture focused on communication, collaboration, and professional development. Supervise staff, including hiring, training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Support onboarding, retention, and employee engagement efforts. Ensure client plans meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with teams to meet the organization’s mission and values. Implement and track outcome measurements, reporting progress to leadership. Manage the fiscal year budget, monitor finances, and ensure resource adequacy. Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field; MSW preferred. Previous director experience in a group home setting; familiarity with ICF regulations and IDD population preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; experience in budget management and program evaluation. Why ADEC?
