The Role In Brief Partner Development Executives at EAB establish relationships with key decision makers within education institutions. They are persuasive leaders who listen to partners and map their problems to our services and solutions. Responsible for generating leads and managing the sales process, they aim to convert new partners and achieve sales goals. This role involves working across various levels and locations, including Washington, DC; Richmond, VA; or remotely within the continental US. Primary Responsibilities
Prospect and build new business within an assigned territory of higher education institutions, focusing on EAB’s Navigate Advancement CRM. Build relationships with leaders to discuss strategic fundraising and technological challenges, presenting solutions and selling EAB’s capabilities. Conduct presentations and demonstrations to understand partner needs and educate stakeholders. Meet revenue goals through managing a sales pipeline. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to increase revenue. Maintain knowledge of competitors and provide insights for future initiatives. Manage a Sales Associate indirectly, providing feedback and guidance. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Proven success exceeding sales targets in business development roles. Experience representing complex products/services in a consultative capacity. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills. Willingness to travel domestically (25-50%). Valid driver’s license. Experience in sales, higher education, education technology, fundraising, CRM solutions, or partner management. Ideal Qualifications
4-8+ years of relevant professional experience. Knowledge of donor management, CRM platforms, or education sector processes. Experience working with higher education stakeholders or understanding of fundraising processes. Strong presentation, listening, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide effective feedback. Commitment to continuous learning and fostering an inclusive environment. Compensation & Benefits The salary range is $50,000 - $105,000, with uncapped variable compensation potential, totaling $100,000 - $180,000 at target performance.
