JE Dunn's Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) combines Mission Critical, Advanced Industries, and Industrial & Manufacturing into one high-performing team focused on cutting-edge work for innovative clients on large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. As part of the Advanced Facilities team, you'll work on some of the most advanced construction projects nationwide, growing your career alongside our diverse team of industry professionals.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

Learns and actively participates in all aspects of the company's safety and quality plans and culture by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others. Completes entry-level and routine mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities. Learns how to develop budgetary M/E estimates based on program and schematic design information using automated M/E estimating systems. Assists in reviewing mechanical and electrical options during preconstruction and completes systems analysis for select projects. Learns to develop the mechanical and electrical scopes of work for the bid process. Assists in bid analysis and subcontractor selection. Develops sequencing requirements for systems and provides solutions to meet schedule needs. Gains knowledge of design documents to identify potential quality issues and develop constructability review reports. Learns to perform job inspections to ensure specifications and expectations are met. Assists with shop drawing/submittal processes to ensure compliance with contract documents. Supports the commissioning process, including developing pre-functional checklists and testing procedures. Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core Senior M/E Engineer Performs increasingly complex mechanical, electrical, and field activities. Develops budget estimates based on design information. Reviews and recommends systems, providing value engineering suggestions. Coordinates scopes during bidding and develops sequencing and scheduling plans. Reviews design documents for quality issues and develops quality control programs. Performs job inspections and develops testing procedures. Reviews and approves shop drawings. Creates and manages commissioning plans and verifies deficiencies. Mentors less experienced staff and develops innovative tools. Negotiates subcontracts and purchases equipment. Builds client relationships, participates in interviews, presentations, and community events. Manages resource allocation, staffing, and ensures project profitability. Promotes diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to perform work accurately, timely, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Proficiency in MS Office, construction tools, scheduling software, BIM, and Lean principles. Ability to read plans and specifications, manage budgets, and build relationships. Education

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering, or related field (Required). Experience

10+ years construction management experience (Preferred). Working Environment
