Ring is looking for a Product Manager to join the Subscriptions team. In this role, you will be working cross functionally to gain insights, define requirements, and develop solutions to support the growth of Ring subscription products. This includes working closely with engineers, support, and our business partners to maintain and support our existing subscriptions and guide new products to launch. You will be the point of contact for improvement initiatives for our subscribers and customer support team while leading and executing process changes.

Take high level direction and turn a strategic plan into a tactical plan. Manage prioritization and trade-offs for customer experience, performance and features. Manage the day-to-day product owner tasks of ticket writing, product acceptance, prioritization and backlog grooming. Identify key performance indicators, strive for improvement, and communicate progress. Regularly identify insights and form hypotheses to validate through research. Provide cross-functional reporting insights into customer and support data. Facilitate alignment across the subscription, customer service, engineering, legal, marketing, and content teams for existing and new subscriptions. Effectively use data and metrics to back up assumptions, business value, and identify customer pain points. Work with stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity and agree upon requirements.
A day in the life You will work alongside your peers on the Subscriptions team to identify innovative solutions that will create improvements for our existing products and help launch new exciting initiatives. You will develop mechanisms to gather customer and support feedback, analyze data, and present your recommendations. You will drive strategic thinking to help inform decisions aimed at making sure the business is providing the best value to our customers.
About the team The Ring Subscriptions product management team is responsible for all areas of the roadmap, spanning new product launches, lifecycle, international expansion and working with the engineering team on scalability. We work closely with all cross-functional teams including engineering, program management, sales, marketing, UX, accounting, and legal to name a few. We strike a balance between moving fast and bias for action, and data-driven decision making and customer obsession.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product. Experience with end to end product delivery. Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product. Experience managing technical products or online services. Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process. Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines.
