Overview: We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Senior Product Manager with 5-10 years of successful experience in hardware product planning, definition, and management. This role focuses on product definition and roadmap planning, ensuring that our battery-powered security camera products meet and exceed market demands and customer expectations. You'll be at the forefront of product innovation, transforming customer insights into competitive, cutting-edge products that make a real impact on people’s lives. Key Responsibilities: User Insights: Conduct in-depth analyses of global users’ home environments to understand and identify their real needs. Use these insights to develop innovative product features that enhance the user experience. - Competitive Analysis: Assess and summarize competitor product features rapidly. Provide targeted recommendations to differentiate TP-Link’s smart home offerings and stay ahead of the competition. - Technology Research and Innovation: Research new technologies that can enhance user experience, applying innovations to improve product competitiveness. - Product Definition and Roadmap Planning [Core Responsibility]: Define market-specific battery-powered security camera products based on market research, user feedback, and technology trends. Develop product roadmaps and plan for product iterations and features, ensuring sustained market leadership. Create detailed product requirement documents to guide design and development teams. - Communication and Collaboration: Articulate product features, user value, and competitive advantages clearly, collaborating with TP-Link's creative team for refinement. Work with product and development teams in China and the US to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. - Sales and Operations Support: Coordinate with the global sales team to create monthly production plans, adjusting based on sales and market conditions. Monitor and refine products based on user feedback after launch. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field. Proven experience in hardware product planning, definition, and management, covering the full product lifecycle from concept to launch. Strong technical understanding with the ability to make technical decisions. Additional Qualifications: Hands-on experience with hardware smart home products, especially IP cameras, video doorbells, security systems, or smart door entry products. Deep technical background and ability to guide product development technically. Strong customer empathy, capable of noticing and acting on small details to drive product innovation.
