Job Title: Executive Director for Student Advocacy and Support

Position Overview: Reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor for Health, Well-being, and Safety (HWS), the Executive Director will provide strategic leadership for the HWS organization. This role oversees financial operations and human resource management of key units, including the Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC), Basic Needs, and Campus Advocacy, Resources, and Education (CARE).
The Executive Director will champion the strategic vision of HWS, foster collaboration within the organization, across campus, and with external community partners. The role aims to integrate well-being, advocacy, retention, and success strategies throughout the student experience, ensuring these elements are embedded in all student support services.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a trusted strategic partner, guiding operational and growth strategies.
Drive operational efficiencies and enhance processes.
Ensure team alignment with the HWS Collective Impact Model.
Advocate for the division’s strategic goals and cultivate strong relationships within and outside the organization.
Inspire teams, mentor emerging leaders, and promote innovative solutions to improve student advocacy and support services.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will have a collaborative, solution-oriented leadership style, with a commitment to ethics, diversity, and inclusion. Demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and drive innovation is essential. A positive attitude, high energy, and integrity are critical for success.
Compensation: The full salary range is $123,000 - $241,400 annually, with an expected pay up to $211,800. Salary offers are based on education, experience, certifications, and organizational needs.
Additional Requirements:
Current work authorization is required; sponsorship is not available.
