The Senior Logistics Manager is an important and integral component of the Street Factory production system. The manager is responsible for the management and scheduling of logistics team members, accurate quoting and planning of shipping needs, ground operations – setup and strike for all incoming and outgoing project assets, and location and management of SFM facilities. The Senior Logistics Manager is also responsible for managing and scheduling the fabrication queue. This involves monitoring the shop’s overall fabrication load, helping producers manage client expectations and ensuring SFM products are completed on time. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – LOGISTICS

Shipping and Handling

Coordinating with producers, designers, and fabricators to ensure logistics staff are delivering all assets and materials arrive in excellent condition to the designated locations on or before their designated deadline. Purchasing of all shipping materials for all projects.

Field Management Oversight

Coordinate with producers to ensure setup and strike teams will be in place and with clear work plans.

Facilities management: Storage / Disposal / Maintenance

Oversee the efficient and organized use of SFM properties. Develop specific plans for the complete break-down of all incoming shipping assets. Liquidate any unneeded SFM property Reduce general waste with local donation companies. Maintain accurate deadlines for client stored assets to ensure payment, or disposal at the end of the storage term.

Fleet Management

Work directly with the Fleet Manager to ensure vehicles are kept up to date with maintenance. Maintain and update a fleet calendar to better forecast our vehicle needs and ensure no vehicles are double booked.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – SCHEDULING

Ensure timely production workflow for all ongoing SFM fabrication projects Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demands Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations Identify problems and help improve by implementing processes Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget Triage last minute edits and changes, plan for minimum disruption Assist producers with managing client expectations by preparing and submitting ongoing status and performance reports PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

3-5 year relevant experience Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management Strong skills in inventory management and control Expertise in transportation management and planning Familiarity with warehouse operations Ability to implement process improvements and optimize workflows Knowledge of logistics and packaging solutions This is a local position, so candidates must be based in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
