Position Overview The Business Process Analyst will support a program in U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) by conducting research, developing strategic frameworks, and crafting communications to meet operational goals. The role involves attending client and internal meetings, working onsite at least once a week near Metro Center.
Responsibilities:
Attend all client and internal meetings and document minutes.
Identify project goals, write goal statements, and develop project plans.
Conduct research, generate findings, insights, and recommendations.
Contribute to reports and support ad hoc client requests.
Research best practices to inform future goals and products.
Lead stakeholder discussions, meetings, and briefings for leadership.
Create briefing materials and summaries to communicate program progress.
Qualifications: Required:
Located in the DC metro area
Experience developing strategic frameworks or facilitating design workshops for organizational goals
Research and analysis experience with complex technical programs
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders quickly
Expertise in analyzing complex problems and processes
Experience with industry benchmarking, including against federal agencies
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Preferred:
Experience with CBP BI
Advisory experience for technical programs
Federal government consulting experience
Background in international trade or supply chain analysis
Experience working in DHS or CBP
Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
Salary: $77k+ depending on education and experience.
