Gensler’s Critical Facilities practice is looking for a multi-talented architect to join our growing team. We seek a candidate with experience in designing and delivering high-tech architecture projects, such as data centers, high-density labs, or other complex facilities. You will be a key team member supporting our clients' expansion initiatives, collaborating with global and regional leaders to lead project teams and grow client relationships. You will allocate resources, ensure smooth workflows, and serve as the primary liaison between the team and clients. Your role is vital in the design and delivery of world-class

Critical Facilities . This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative projects within the data center and critical facilities market. What You Will Do Lead project teams to implement client projects, communicating objectives, scope, terms, and schedule Manage schedules, budgets, staffing, and project setup with clients, vendors, and contractors Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and fees, and bid projects to contractors Track financial performance, including work plans, fees, change orders, and collections Oversee the full project lifecycle from estimating and bidding to close-out Collaborate on design solutions and documentation with project team members Guide documentation and pricing through construction Resolve technical and design issues to ensure project success Manage project specifications to meet design intent and requirements Coordinate with authorities for approvals and compliance Your Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field 8+ years of experience managing projects and teams Critical Facilities experience; completed data center projects Professional license or certification preferred Experience negotiating scope, fees, and managing project finances Knowledge of building materials, specifications, and construction techniques for core and shell architecture Strong understanding of building codes, zoning, and jurisdictional processes Extensive experience in construction documentation, detailing, and field observation Proficiency with project management software like MS Project is a plus Strong skills in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketchup, Rhino, Enscape, VRay is beneficial Understanding of engineering disciplines in technical infrastructure projects Application Instructions Please submit your cover letter, resume, and portfolio in PDF format.
