Job Summary The Director of Business Analytics will lead our analytics function, overseeing data analysis to generate insights that inform strategic decisions and drive operational excellence. You will manage a team of analysts, collaborate across departments, and implement analytics solutions aligned with business goals.

Essential Functions

Lead and develop a team of analysts and data scientists, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.

Oversee analysis of inventory sales, Spotify data, and other relevant datasets to identify trends and opportunities.

Develop methodologies for projecting ticket sales, dynamic pricing, and artist valuations to maximize revenue.

Analyze macroeconomic shifts and industry trends to inform strategic planning.

Calculate show sales breakeven points, adjusting for venue expenses, to optimize financial performance.

Analyze revenue streams from food & beverage, merchandise, and ancillary sales to identify growth opportunities.

Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to develop data-driven strategies.

Assist finance teams with reporting financial metrics and performance indicators.

Required Qualifications

BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.

6-8 years of experience in business analytics, data science, or related fields.

2-4 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Experience working with financial data and conducting financial analysis.

Proficiency with analytics tools and platforms.

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Expertise in SQL Server Reporting Services.

Familiarity with BI tools like DOMO.

Knowledge of open source tools, Big Data techniques, and large dataset analysis.

Excellent communication and business acumen.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Proven project management skills and understanding of ticketing and pricing dynamics in entertainment.

Demonstrated leadership in building high-performing teams.

Pay Scale $117,907 - $185,890
