You will join the North American Sales Team, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (East), focusing on driving order growth and maintaining strong client relationships within the Mid-Atlantic US (MD, VA, WV, DC). Key Responsibilities:
Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities in biotech, pharma, academic, and government sectors within the territory. Develop and nurture client relationships supporting their ongoing and future programs. Coordinate with inside sales and technical support teams to optimize sales and business development processes. Provide accurate forecasts and visibility into revenue opportunities, projecting revenue recognition for the quarter and year. Manage opportunity and sales pipeline data in CRM system daily. Minimum Requirements:
B.S. in a scientific field. At least 5 years of client-facing sales experience in the life sciences industry, with a proven top-performer track record, preferably in biopharma selling into cell and gene therapy segments. Broad technical knowledge in molecular and cell biology, including workflows for biotherapeutics such as nucleic acids, gene editing, DNA plasmids, mRNA therapeutics, viral vectors, CAR-T, etc. Minimum 1 year of sales experience supporting Cell and Gene Therapies through Contract Development/Manufacturing Organizations or similar. Minimum 1 year of sales experience in clinical drug development, with understanding of call points, sales cycle, and KOL engagement in Biotech and Pharma, especially in Cell and Gene Therapy. Preferred Qualifications:
MSc or PhD degree. Experience supporting clinical programs and GMP manufacturing.
