The Vice President of Business Development for Cyber and Mission Solutions is a senior leadership position within the company reporting to the Head of Corporate Global Growth and Sales Organization. This position will be primarily responsible for executing company growth and sales strategies for products, services, and solutions across the Intelligence Community. The candidate must have detailed experience and knowledge in IC missions, acquisitions, policy, and threats. The position will lead and manage a team of Business Development staff and Sales team and other resources to meet corporate growth objectives. Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Intelligence Community (IC) and related National Security Agencies. Understand customer, mission, budget, policy, emerging threats, and acquisition plans to determine corporate strategies and business development growth plans. Conduct, review, and prioritize opportunity (pipeline) management (e.g., Gate Reviews synonymous to Shipley process), forecasts, and metrics. Contribute to proposing technology (requirements) and solution roadmaps and communicate with C-level executives, Program leadership, and other stakeholders. Establish and maintain relationships with senior US Government officials, industry partners, and key stakeholders to drive growth and collaboration. Lead and support capture efforts for major government contracts, including bid and proposal development and competitive positioning. Manage BD resources and allocate investments as required (e.g., B&P, IRAD, indirect staff) to achieve financial targets. Build and optimize (internally) team productivity and processes to deliver products, services, and solutions that satisfy the needs of our customers. Drive innovation by integrating company technologies, advanced methodologies, and customer capabilities to enhance mission effectiveness. Partner across the other growth organizations of the company and participate in Marketing & Communications (MarCom) and GovOps activities such as conferences, discussions with customers, thought leaders, and potential industry partnerships. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Intelligence Studies, National Security, Computer Science or Engineering) and/or advanced degree Minimum 15 years of experience as a Business Development executive Experience with IC agencies such as NSA, CIA, NRO Proven strategic & creative thinker with senior leadership experience to successfully achieve Orders, Revenue, and Earnings targets in a Defense & Technology company. Able to formulate and implement market strategies with a mission-centric mindset to translating customer requirements to company solutions. Successfully build and manage pipeline of opportunities across select markets People leader with demonstrated success in leading and mentoring Business Development and Sales teams Strong product management skills and attention to detail Understand the user experience and design Experience in project management skills such as conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial monitoring, and reporting Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in the procurement process from development of customer need statements, RFIs, RFPs, and coordination of delivery schedules Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph Salary Range:
$200,000 - $275,000 The pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Determination depends on various factors including position level, responsibilities, location, experience, education, certifications, and organizational requirements.
