Are you ready? What You’ll Do As a Store Manager, you will set the store vision and direction, acting as a role model for your team. You will drive continuous improvement, maintain a forward-thinking approach to achieve strategic goals, and work to maximize sales, uphold store standards, and motivate your team. By exceeding customer expectations and delivering Primark’s value proposition—outstanding value, amazing fashion, and excellent service—you will drive sales to meet targets. Store Managers influence daily business operations by managing inventory, coaching teams to move products according to customer demand, and driving commercial excellence. You will understand the local market, benchmarking against competitors to support strategic planning and improve store performance. You will be responsible for achieving sales budgets and maximizing sales within each department using all available tools. Primark Store Managers are empowered to improve in-store availability by controlling stock sizes and options to meet customer needs. You will develop your team to optimize stock levels, enhance visual presentation, and manage resource planning and scheduling within budget to ensure the right staffing at the right times. What You’ll Bring To succeed, you need at least 5 years of experience as a retail Store Manager in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. · Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in developing high-performing teams and future leaders. · Commercial awareness, with the ability to analyze reports and guide teams to improve performance. · Leadership qualities to engage and influence stakeholders, motivate teams, and exude confidence and enthusiasm. · Proven experience in empowering teams to deliver excellent customer service and store standards, focusing on customer needs. · Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines. · Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written, to instruct, coach, and lead teams and provide excellent customer service.
