Mars United Commerce is currently seeking a Senior Director, Client Leadership, for our Bentonville office. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Provide thought leadership, impacting/contributing to client’s way of doingbusiness on an ongoing basis · Act as a change agent/impact player from both an internal and externalperspective – contributing to both client and agency performance · Expand assigned business through identification of emerging opportunities andsecuring of incremental revenue and/or acquisition of new business · Manage client budgets, ensuring profitability for The Mars Agency and contributingto overall department bonus attainment · Demonstrate financial acumen across standard business accounting/financedocuments such as income statements, balance sheets, and sales reports · Develop annual business plan, setting short- and long-term strategic course forgrowth of assigned business · Lead team in the development of an annual business plan in conjunction withstated or potential client needs, and lead quarterly business health meetings with yourGM, Strategic Planning and Creative partners. · Optimize the impact of customer insight in the creative/program developmentprocess by inspiring and partnering with lead Creative and Strategic Planners on yourteam · Build strong relationships with the client while working closely with client cross-functional teams including consumer marketing, trade development, operations,merchandising, and category managers, directors and buyers SKILL SETS REQUIRED: · Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related field · Minimum of 8 years of marketing or advertising experience, preferably agencyexperience in traditional consumer activities · Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety ofaudiences · A wealth of industry knowledge including current trends, consumer packagedgoods, and business philosophies · Motivational leadership, inspiring team to deliver top performance every dayagainst assigned business · Strategic thinking in the development of Shopper Marketing programs andmanagement of day to day business · Sound decision making skills based in agency, client, and industry knowledge · Passion about business and dissatisfaction with status quo – always thinking ofways to improve/grow assigned client/business · Strong listening skills and attention to detail · Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills · Some travel is required Mars United Commerce is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will recruit, hire, train and promote persons in all job classifications without regard to race, ancestry, creed, color, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability or handicap, HIV, veteran, marital or family status, or any other status or condition protected by applicable state and/or federal laws, except where a bona fide occupational qualification applies. Compensation Range: $119,510 - $155,325 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
