ROLE SUMMARY: If you are interested in a hands-on, continuous improvement oriented, fast-paced role in a world-class manufacturing environment, then our Warehouse Area Manager role is for you. This role involves troubleshooting and problem solving on the fly to meet logistics goals, developing as a leader, change agent, and technically as an Engineer. Additionally, you can expect to: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise warehouse employees on shift (afternoon or midnight); work with contractors. Promote safe working practices. Manage, coach, assist, and direct workforce for shipping and receiving of finished products, new materials, and trade returns. Develop, monitor, and maintain critical quality control points to ensure process and product excellence. Develop and monitor production plans, inventories, labor schedules, and coordinate maintenance to meet schedules. Ensure SOPs are followed. Utilize management system tools and methodologies to achieve KPIs and targets. Lead and coach teams using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Work with senior leaders on process improvement initiatives. Manage trailer loading/unloading and queue. Handle non-conforming products through blocking and consolidating. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess or be pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Required to work at least 4 weekend shifts per month; holidays as needed. Leadership skills, adaptability, and change management ability. Technical and problem-solving skills. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills preferred.
