Position Summary The Quality Analytics & Data (QUAD) team is responsible for integrating and standardizing operations, processes, information, data, and technology to advance and align the capabilities, competencies, and outputs of Quality (in the areas of GMP, GDP, GCP, GLP, GVP, Research, and Real World Evidence/Data) with high-value goals/strategy and other related Quality organizations. The team aims to build a robust data-rich landscape that empowers teams through a data-driven decision-making culture.
Responsibilities
Support activities for developing and advancing the QUAD analytics and information framework to enable effective quality oversight, governance, communication, and data-driven decision making.
Provide design and development oversight to teams in QUAD on technology and key business intelligence initiatives.
Serve as a business analyst and technical lead for process and technology initiatives related to data accessibility, connectivity, and analytics/reporting.
Translate complex data insights into understandable and actionable information for decision-makers.
Monitor and ensure the integrity of key data for reporting across the development portfolio.
Support analytics implementation services, including communication, change management, user documentation, and data literacy.
Serve as a subject matter and data expert for cross-departmental initiatives.
Support broader projects to achieve strategic goals and meet timelines.
Stay updated on industry-specific systems and technologies relevant to Quality analytics.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Technical Skills and Competencies
Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, R, and Python.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and data analysis skills.
Understanding of GxP practices and applicable regulations in drug development.
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and related technology solutions like Veeva.
Effective communication skills for professional, clear, and concise interactions.
Ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Leadership, decision-making, project management, and negotiation skills.
Experience supporting data translation efforts and developing data literacy tools.
Preferred Education and Experience
B.S. in a scientific or quantitative field with 5-7 years of relevant experience, or
M.S. in a scientific or quantitative field with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or
Demonstrable experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or device industry solving business or compliance challenges through analytics.
