Technical Project Manager
to lead customer onboarding and implementation of a cloud-based AP automation solution. This is a dynamic opportunity to work with a collaborative and international team, helping clients realize value through seamless deployment and technical integration. Key Responsibilities Customer Onboarding & Project Management Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders to ensure alignment with their strategic goals and expected ROI. Drive end-to-end project management activities including planning, scheduling, documentation, risk mitigation, and reporting. Oversee platform configuration to meet client-specific requirements, including workflows, budgets, payment features, and ERP integrations. Technical Scoping & Solution Design Lead discussions with client IT teams to scope data transfer requirements and system interfaces. Write functional specifications for scripts or customizations when standard configurations are not sufficient. Coordinate with internal development teams to implement and validate solutions. Participate in pre-sales activities for complex implementations by assessing client needs and estimating professional services scope. Draft detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) and scoping documentation to support sales opportunities. Support third-party implementation partners to ensure successful platform adoption when applicable. Contribute actively to internal team discussions and knowledge base with recommendations and documentation. Assist support teams with advanced post-go-live technical issues as needed. Identify and assist in rolling out process improvements across the project delivery lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). At least 1 year of experience managing SaaS implementation projects, preferably involving ERP or financial software. Familiarity with AP processes and ERP platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, or NetSuite is highly preferred. Technical aptitude with the ability to understand system architecture, APIs, and data flows. Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable leading client meetings and training sessions. Experience writing functional specifications and working closely with development teams. Proficiency with project management or CRM tools such as Jira, Wrike, or Salesforce is a plus.
