We are currently seeking a Director, Contracts Management

to oversee the Contracts Department’s processing of commercial (U.S. and non-U.S.) and government (U.S. and non-U.S.) contracts with customers, distributors, resellers, and authorized service providers. The position is also responsible for managing the company’s Contracts Department, including its personnel, policies, and processes. The

ensures the company’s proposals and contracts are reviewed, approved, executed, and stored in accordance with corporate policies and standard operating procedures. The

Director, Contracts Management

is responsible for the daily assignment of contract review actions to members of the Contracts Department, managing workload levels globally among department staff members, and directly supervising Senior Contracts Managers in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. The candidate must have business skills/expertise in analysis of complex bid and proposal tenders, and the ability to interact with customers and lead contract negotiations. Additionally, the candidate must have experience managing subordinate Contracts Managers. The candidate will interact regularly with senior and executive management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers and therefore must be able to communicate effectively. Responsibilities Administration of Contracts Department personnel, policies, and processes and related management issues. Ensure contract review, approval, and execution in accordance with corporate policies and standard operating procedures. Provide supervision, mentoring, and guidance to members of Contracts Department staff. Communicate contract policy and practice, including training presentations, to internal business teams. Provide expert support services to business units including, but not limited to, the application of contract clauses and regulations. Act as custodian of contractual records for assigned contracts. Support the Bids and Proposals team in providing contract analysis and review of solicitations, bids, and tenders. Review contractual documents and negotiate terms and conditions. Analyze contractual requirements, special provisions, and terms to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies. Work with stakeholders, functional counterparts, and customers to resolve contractual issues. Prepare and administer correspondence, negotiation memoranda, supporting documents, and contract documentation for timely submission. Interact daily with Senior and Executive Management, Program Managers, and operational representatives. Handle confidential and non-routine information. Report quality problems or defects for corrective action. Duties may be modified or assigned to meet business needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration or related field. 10+ years of contract administration and management experience, including a full range of commercial and government contract types. Meticulous in work and superior organizational skills. Experience supervising staff at the manager level. Ability to prioritize tasks with competing urgencies. Experience in solicitation analysis, risk assessment, negotiation, and issue resolution. Excellent communication and writing skills. Thorough knowledge of ethical standards in contracting. Experience with product manufacturing companies is desired. Strong knowledge of commercial contract terms and conditions. Ability to make sound business judgments, handle multiple activities quickly, and work independently or as part of a team. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively, solve problems, and build trust. Availability to attend meetings outside normal hours and travel less than 5% of the time.
