Base pay range $95,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from AGG Legal Staffing The Litigation Legal Assistant handles complex and specialized administrative and clerical support activities related to the specific work assigned by Attorneys. This person MUST have previous, in-depth experience handling, processing and troubleshooting confidential and sealed filings for State and Federal Courts. Responsibilities: Perform initial conflict checks and open/close client matters and prepare engagement letters Prepare, revise and proofread various pleadings, correspondence, memoranda, motions, briefs at the Federal, State and local levels Correspond and communicate with courts, clients, witnesses, experts and opposing counsel regarding hearings, depositions, trials and various meetings. Assist with the assembly, production and tracking of discovery requests and responses Create and maintain client and administrative files Monitor case deadlines and work with the Docket Department to ensure deadlines are entered and met Maintin Attorney's calendars by scheduling appointments, meeting invites, video conferences, conference room requests, and lunches Enter and review Attorney's billable time Coordinate travel arrangements and track travel expenses for timely reimbursement Requirements: Previous experience supporting 3-4 busy litigation Attorneys in a law firm setting Recently handled confidential filings and filings under seal Experience with InTapp Time/Open, Chrome River Expense Reporting, Aderant, Interaction or iManage is a plus.
