Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Position Title : Senior Coordinator, Office of the President & CEO Location : Washington, D.C. MFA’s mission is to advance the ability of alternative asset managers to raise capital, invest, and generate returns for their beneficiaries. MFA advocates on behalf of its membership and convenes stakeholders to address global regulatory, operational, and business issues. MFA’s member firms collectively manage a diverse group of investment strategies. Member firms help pension plans, university endowments, charitable foundations, and other institutional investors to diversify their investments, manage risk, and generate attractive returns over time. Position Summary: The Senior Coordinator, Office of the President & CEO is responsible for providing administrative and organizational support to the President & CEO. Under the direction of the President & CEO, the Senior Coordinator will provide strong administrative and organizational support. Arrange CEO’s domestic and international travel arrangements to facilitate individual and group meetings with the association’s members, Board of Directors, elected officials, and government regulators. Provide invoice support and manage CEO’s business expenses in a timely manner, includes verifying charges, facilitating approval process, and reporting. Document and record the CEO’s key meetings involving members, Board of Directors, and prospective members in the organization’s internal customer relationship management platform. Support the planning and execution of key meetings and convenings, including Board meetings and CEO-hosted events and dinners. This includes correspondence, scheduling, logistics, compiling materials, and coordination with participants. Engage with the MFA Board of Directors, Board committees, members, and internal teams on matters concerning the Office of the President & CEO, maintaining strict confidentiality. Prepare, organize, and distribute official correspondence as directed by CEO. Collaborate with leadership team on special projects as required. Provide administrative support to other internal teams, as needed. Perform other duties, as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing executive administrative support at a trade association, government, or related experience. Financial services industry experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented culture that values the importance of being a good teammate, communicator, and partner. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to self-start, think ahead, problem-solve, and engage proactively with high professionalism, reliability, and accountability. Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Occasional domestic business travel is required. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Please note that the annual base salary range provided is a general guideline and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. These factors include, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, years of work experience, work location, education/training, internal peer equity, and external market data.
