This Position reports to: Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager Your Role and Responsibilities In this role, you will support the deployment of the continuous improvement and quality strategy, including promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. You will deploy and lead projects to improve and sustain local business performance. Assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. Collaborate with local functions that impact quality results to reach targets and aim for world-class performance. The work model for this role is: ONSITE. This role contributes to the ABB Smart Power division in Dallas, TX. You will be mainly accountable for: Supporting the deployment of strategy and objectives for quality management, including overseeing local ISO certification in collaboration with the 3PL; sharing and monitoring quality issues/performance with feeder factories and vendors. Supporting the team with respect to quality management content, tools, and systems; providing relevant communication, training materials, and sessions. Continuously identifying and addressing risks and opportunities related to quality management; performing audits; using quality data analytics to identify risks, failures, and non-conformances. Acting as a local process owner for defined quality-related processes, systems, or tools, including defining, documenting, implementing, and communicating plans, supervising progress, and driving continuous process improvement. Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 8 years experience in Continuous Improvement, Quality Assurance & Excellence, Data Analysis & Reporting, ISO knowledge. Travel required. Candidates must already have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
