Block Head (Production) Business Unit: SGO Location: To be specified Sub-Function: Formulation Production Job Classification Code: JC2141 Job Classification Label: Block Head Job Family: Manufacturing Sub-Job Family: Production Key Responsibilities: Oversee operations of a specific block within the manufacturing facility Ensure efficient production processes and compliance with quality and safety standards Meet production targets Implement current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and SOPs at the workplace Maintain and improve product quality according to standards Ensure accuracy, reliability, validity, integrity, and completeness of cGxP data/records Plan department activities based on weekly delivery schedules for OSD and Liquid Orals Control manpower, machinery, and materials effectively Participate in qualification and validation activities Collaborate with quality heads to align production with quality standards and regulatory requirements Ensure all personnel training (SOPs, technical, developmental, regulatory) is complete Organize and implement on-job training Implement EHS practices during work Maintain and upkeep equipment and department facilities Control rejection rates during manufacturing and packing Handle counseling and grievances of subordinates Prepare, review, and approve SOPs Evaluate deviations, change controls, and other quality documents Manage market complaint investigations and ensure timely closure Handle QMS activities related to the block Conduct batch failure investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions Review and approve equipment qualification and process validation documents Job Requirements: Educational Qualification: M.Sc., B Pharma, or M.Pharm Experience: 18-20 years Disclaimer:
