With over 30 years in the industry, they have a strong market share and have built a reputation for delivering customer-focused, innovative, dependable and sustainable solutions while partnering with their end users.
They are currently seeking a motivated and mature minded Business Development Manager to take ownership of the South Australian market, whilst managing WA and NT, and contribute to their continued growth and success.
The Role:
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be given the autonomy and flexibility to develop and execute your own territory plan with the support from an overarching national strategy and a collaborative sales team who take pride in supporting one another.
You will be taking over an established territory that has experienced significant growth in recent years and is expected to continue growing with a customer development, product champion approach.
Key accountabilities will include:
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with a strategic approach across SA, WA and NT. Developing strategic sales plans to penetrate target markets Managing assigned Key Accounts and continuously improving customer relationships to capture value-adding opportunities and expand product and service offerings Engaging with all current distribution partners and expanding market channels Creating detailed quotes and project specifications that outline the technical requirements, design, and functionality of the project Provide ongoing support to customers throughout the project, acting as a liaison between the customer and internal teams, ensuring that customer needs are met Developing promotional campaigns and marketing solutions Attending trade and networking events to expand footprint and generate leads Analysing current market trends, competitor products and market share Monthly sales forecasting and reporting Your Profile:
Our ideal candidate will have several years’ experience in similar technical sales and business development roles, with a real hunger for seizing opportunities regardless of what challenges may arise.
You will also have the following skills and attributes: A demonstrated track record for achieving results and growth within your portfolio Previous experience collaborating with engineers, architects, plumbers, builders, developers and government agencies Prior experience working in the specification market The ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
