We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Ports & Marine team in Brooklyn, NY. The role involves providing professional engineering services, managing feasibility studies, analysis, and designs related to ports and bulk materials handling projects worldwide. Experience in planning, concept design, analysis, and detailed design for bulk handling, container, oil and gas, and cargo terminals is essential. Leadership of multidisciplinary teams through all project phases is highly valued.
Responsibilities
Serve as Project Manager for ports and materials handling projects
Lead multi-disciplinary teams
Conduct peer reviews of technical packages
Estimate effort and manage budgets
Ensure technical excellence and quality
Support constructability and safety reviews
Develop client relations
Monitor market opportunities
Promote Hatch’s services
Contribute to proposals and industry insights
Engage with industry leaders
Participate in professional groups
Mentor junior staff and support recruitment
Qualifications
Degree in structural, marine, or mechanical engineering
15+ years of relevant experience
PE license in Texas
Strong technical writing and presentation skills
Leadership and teamwork abilities
Excellent communication skills
Salary: $160,000 - $225,000
Reports to the Regional Director, Ports & Terminals
