What We Do
The Strategic Analysis Group (SAG) supports the First American- Direct Title Group of Businesses with key analysis support to inform business and technology strategy. The group consists of analysis professionals and leaders who are skilled, certified, and experienced in Business Analysis, Business Architecture, Process Architecture, and Business Systems Analysis. The SAG has rich experience in leading, informing, and supporting analysis efforts in both strategy and implementation phases, enabling business & technology transformations within the Enterprise.
The Manager, Strategic Analysis is a key role within the SAG, providing analysis and people leadership. This role manages a high-performing team of BA and/or BSA professionals within the Direct Title Group of Businesses and acts as the Lead Analyst for key analysis efforts. The manager will work closely with SAG's leadership to develop an Analysis Center of Excellence and implement industry best practices. They will serve as a strategic liaison with business and technology stakeholders to understand needs, identify gaps, map current state, and provide insights and recommendations to drive improvements. The SA Manager is a strong mentor and leader, leading projects and processes with broad experience to enable partner and customer success.
HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and ensure analysis support for initiatives and rollouts.
Lead and manage analysis projects, bringing expertise to the group.
Conduct business process evaluations, map current states, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Act as a strategic partner and liaison between business, product, design, research, and engineering teams.
Mentor the team in applying analysis best practices throughout the product lifecycle.
Oversee creation and maintenance of documentation within an agile framework.
Set team goals and manage day-to-day operations to meet deadlines.
Participate in HR activities including hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
Provide reports and presentations to leadership to inform strategies and resource planning.
Lead the creation of a Center of Excellence for the SAG.
Manage risk and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
Certifications such as CBAP, PBA, Agile, CBA.
7+ years of related experience.
Expertise in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, Business Systems, Agile, and Product methodologies.
Experience in digital transformation projects preferred.
Strong analytical, business acumen, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Experience creating detailed analysis documentation.
Knowledge of Title insurance and settlement services is a plus.
Business Architecture knowledge is a plus but not required.
Pay Range: $132,900-$166,100 annually. This range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on various factors.
