How You Will Make History Here... As a member of the Campbell Snacks Category Management Team, the North Regionals Category Management Lead will be responsible for accelerating strategic and tactical thought leadership while driving category and Campbell Snacks retailer growth. This person will be responsible for executing against North Regionals Category Management team objectives, partner on category/line reviews, new item performance tracking, and be the trusted advisor for retailers. The Category Management Lead will partner with key retailer decision makers, aligning on priorities, insight needs, and whitespace identification to drive Campbell Snacks strategic retailer partnerships forward. This role will use point-of-sale, loyalty, and shopper data to create clear, actionable category recommendations across all Campbell Snacks products and categories. What You Will Do... Proactively develop collaborative relationships with retail partners to be viewed as a trusted resource for category insights and growth opportunities. Advise Retailer partners on category and shopper-centric opportunities to grow market share. Support the development of category strategy and assist customers with integrated category planning. Support strategic and tactical recommendations on Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, and Pricing (DSMP) goals to improve overall category performance. Develop customer-specific presentations of relevant consumer insights, competitive responses, and new item/category strategies. Lead and participate in preparation of line reviews, customer category reviews, JBP plans, and Top to Top meetings. Understand plan-o-gram insights and assortment to identify and drive strategic sales opportunities and customer growth. Build strong relationships with category leadership, buyers, and cross-functional teams. Provide distribution forecasts for managed accounts as part of the Campbell Snacks IBP cycle. Drive strategic category direction with professionalism and executive presence, balancing customer and Campbell's needs. Who You Will Work With... Buyers, insights teams, senior leaders, and cross-functional departments including retailers, internal teams, and World HQ resources. What You Will Bring To The Table... Bachelor’s Degree required. 5+ years’ experience in Category Management or data analytics within the CPG industry. Experience with IRI or Nielsen syndicated data. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong technical skills (ProSpace, Excel, Access, etc.). Knowledge of POG software (Blue Yonder) and loyalty card data. It Would Be Great If You Have... Experience with Loyalty card utilization, Category & Shopper Knowledge. Strong storytelling skills. Ability to draw planograms. Self-motivated, disciplined, organized, and communicative. Math, analytics, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position is remote. Candidate must reside in the Northeast, preferably between MA and NJ. Approximate travel of 10% to customer and team meetings. Compensation And Benefits The target base salary range is $87,900-$126,400, depending on location, experience, skills, and education. Total compensation may include additional incentives.
