Project Director
with experience in the construction industry to support us with the development of multiple data center projects for a top technology client. This is a client-facing role requiring strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, the ability to self-direct, client representation, and solid project management fundamentals. Must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently across regions. A strong background in data center development, design, engineering, controls, and operational requirements is a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES Apply modern project management techniques within complex organizations; understand engineering, design, procurement, safety, construction, and commissioning processes. Build strong client relationships and communicate effectively with technical and management personnel. Manage projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring timely and effective delivery. Prepare and present progress reports, findings, and recommendations to management. Review project plans, requirements, and specifications. Prepare RFPs and support contractor selection and contracts. Coordinate with contractors to establish CPM schedules. Perform resource analyses and identify potential bottlenecks. Identify risks and opportunities, providing mitigation strategies. Facilitate project meetings and maintain accurate records. Review and validate project progress, payments, and invoices. Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and liaise with project stakeholders. Support business development through strategy, proposals, and negotiations. Perform additional duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS Required: 18+ years of construction project management experience. Deep understanding of construction, mechanical, and electrical systems. Experience with hyperscale data center projects. Knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, contract management, and building systems. Ability to develop various reports for different audiences. Experience in client-facing roles. Ability to communicate technical progress clearly to diverse audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in construction, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or related fields. Relevant experience in managed services. Master's in construction management. Earned Value Management experience. Active membership in PMI, CCMA, or similar. PMP or CCM certification. POSITION DETAILS Location (On-site):
