About the Position
As Director of Content & Business Development, you will serve as a key member of the EverPass leadership team, playing a dual role across strategic growth and content partnerships. You will lead efforts to identify, structure, and execute high-impact content deals, develop our long-term content roadmap, and serve as a trusted thought partner to the CEO and executive team. You’ll also drive business development initiatives and help steward strategic relationships across sports, media, and tech.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role ideal for a senior operator with deep media industry experience, strong deal instincts, and a bias for action.
What You'll Do
Lead the development of EverPass’s global content strategy in partnership with executive leadership Source and negotiate licensing, distribution, and marketing partnerships Maintain strong relationships with rights holders, leagues, platforms, and agencies Business Development Identify and evaluate strategic partnership opportunities aligned with company growth plans Support executive-level partnership discussions, contract structuring, and long-term value planning Lead cross-functional deal execution with legal, finance, and product Strategic Initiatives & Market Analysis Monitor industry trends, competitor positioning, and new business models across streaming and live sports Evaluate emerging distribution channels and new monetization opportunities Drive ad hoc strategic analyses and special projects at the request of the CEO Oversee key strategic content and distribution partners Ensure partner reporting, data sharing, and campaign execution aligns with performance targets Identify upsell and renewal opportunities within existing partnerships Cross-functional Collaboration & Project Leadership Partner with Finance, Product, Legal, and Marketing to operationalize new content initiatives Create scalable processes and performance dashboards to track success of key initiatives What You'll Bring
7–10 years of experience in business development, content strategy, partnerships, or strategic planning within media, sports, or digital platforms Strong executive presence and experience working with C-level partners Demonstrated experience structuring and negotiating content and/or licensing agreements Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and business acumen Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills Proficiency in Excel and presentation software Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment Passion for sports, media, and the evolving distribution landscape Expected Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for a new hire into this position is $150,000 - $225,000.In compliance with local law, the range above reflects the current hiring range for this position. EverPass takes into consideration the qualifications, skills, and experience of the candidate, expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. EverPass expects to hire for this position at the mid-range salary, with the possibility of considering a higher salary only in rare cases when EverPass determines an external candidate possesses exceptional qualifications significantly exceeding the job requirements.
