The Manager, Retail Technology is responsible for promoting and supporting all Retail Technology programs, applications, and services for the company's retail customers in the region. This position oversees the technical team, including Help Desk and Field Support, and conducts performance reviews. The Manager serves as the team's technical Subject Matter Expert for all Retail Technology applications.
The role involves developing and maintaining strong retail customer relationships to enhance the Customer Experience with Retail Technology. The Manager collaborates with other leaders within the Customer Experience Team (CXT) and across the company to demonstrate the Company's Values, execute Strategic Objectives, and continually improve the Customer Experience.
Description
Oversee retail customer technical support, including Level 1 Help Desk and Level 2 field support.
Build and maintain retail customer relationships in the region to promote Retail Technology programs and services.
Create best practices and provide technical education for retail customers, supporting the Retail Training team.
Provide ongoing technical education and training for Retail Technology team members and other departments.
Organize and deliver technical education at expos, seminars, webinars, and events.
Manage P&L, including revenue and expense budgets.
Support departmental and team projects and participate in leadership initiatives.
Travel as required.
Environment
Office environment with temperature control (65F to 75F).
Skills
Knowledge of retail grocery applications, store operations, and point of sale management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; excellent organizational and communication skills; strong technical abilities.
Physical ability to stand, sit, and occasionally lift 20-60 lbs.
Supervisory experience required.
Years of Experience
5-7 years of experience in retail grocery, technical support, or application support/training.
Qualifications Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field.
Travel required: Yes.
