We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanic Shop Manager (Equipment and Fleet). In this position, you will be responsible for repairs to equipment efficiently and ensuring safety and proper use of the fleet and equipment. Operate safely and maintain shop in a clean, orderly manner Supervise service and repair of all equipment and fleet Ensure quality control on repairs Maintain/update software on vehicles and repairs Schedule preventative maintenance and communicate schedules to managers Maintain a parts inventory Manage vendor contacts and qualify new vendors Analyze costs related to repairs and manage the shop's budget Assist the Branch Manager in procurement of budget line items and equipment What We're Looking For
Minimum 5+ years of repair experience with mowers, small engines, 2-cycle equipment, and utility vehicles Strong mechanical skills including electrical, hydraulic systems, mower technology, and engines (gasoline and diesel) Intermediate automotive repair experience Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset Strong organizational skills in record keeping, inventory, and parts ordering Own tools required High school diploma; technical certifications are a plus Basic computer skills, valid driver's license, and clean driving record Ability to lift 30-50 pounds Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Why Join Yellowstone?
