Your role at GEI Our environmental group is currently seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager in our Woburn, MA office. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with senior technical experts to deliver solutions for government, industrial, commercial development, and energy clients. You will handle a variety of projects including Brownfields redevelopment, utility infrastructure, public facilities, and contaminated site cleanup, while expanding our client base.

Responsibilities

Manage a variety of environmental projects with different complexities and sizes.

Support existing and new clients through targeted marketing, business development, proposal writing, and networking.

Cross-sell GEI’s services such as permitting, water resources, ecological services, and engineering.

Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Manage on-site field staff during investigation and design phases, acting as the primary contact with clients and contractors.

Provide technical guidance and training to staff as needed.

Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop junior staff.

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of experience in environmental investigation and remediation projects.

Entrepreneurial seller-doer with a focus on building client relationships.

Professional registration (e.g., P.E., LSP, P.G.) in relevant field.

B.S. or M.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology.

Excellent communication skills.

40-hour HAZWOPER training.

Ability to travel for site visits, meetings, and business development, including overnight travel.

Valid driver’s license.
