Responsibilities The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for managing projects to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope. The TPM oversees specific projects assigned by the Program Manager, including requirements, scope, budget, schedule, and performance. They monitor, adjust, and report on project performance, budget, and schedule, providing interim progress reviews until completion. The TPM also assists in proposing, implementing, and enforcing program policies, standards, and methodologies, and may develop or supervise the preparation of studies, reports, and acquisition documents. The TPM works from the latest client-approved version of the Project Management Processes (PMP), which is updated annually or as project changes occur.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Overseeing and managing operational aspects of ongoing projects Serving as liaison between project management, planning, project teams, and line management Reviewing project and budget statuses Managing project schedules Preparing status reports Assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals Developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and intervention Documenting and maintaining support requirements in an approved PMP Maintaining detailed SOPs, including milestones, tasks, and subtasks Providing an overall Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with responsibilities and partnerships Documenting the Program Manager’s QMP and risk management approach Documenting communication processes and procedures Maintaining technical and project management baselines Travel:
Travel may be required within the National Capital Region (NCR) as needed for customer or corporate requirements. Position is contingent on contract award. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to pass CI Polygraph Minimum of 8 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 6 years with a Master’s degree, or 3 years with a PhD) Extensive experience in client project management Critical, creative, and strategic thinking skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience creating management, communication, and process plans for government clients Experience leading stakeholder teams to implement plans, policies, and procedures within schedule and budget Desired Qualifications: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance PMI PgMP, PMP, or AAPM MPM certification Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Security Clearance: This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
