Position Overview The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) invite applications for the role of
Program Head of Lung Cancer . This leadership position offers an opportunity to advance research, improve clinical outcomes, and lead a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative environment.
Position Details The appointment will be in the Clinical Research Division (CRD) at Fred Hutch, with a secondary appointment at UW. The role reports to the SVP of CRD at Fred Hutch and relevant UW Department Heads. The successful candidate will oversee the Lung Cancer Program, develop strategic plans, and foster collaborations across basic, translational, and clinical research. Responsibilities include leading research initiatives, faculty recruitment, mentorship, and representing the program at conferences.
Qualifications
MD/DO degree or foreign equivalent
Board certification in medical or surgical oncology or relevant specialty
Eligibility for medical licensure in Washington
International reputation in lung cancer research and clinical excellence
Proven track record in research, grants, and clinical trials
