What you will be doing:
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Lead and work with a crew of 3 to 5 team members. Oversee a crew performing mass excavation Schedule and communicate with inspectors, surveyors, customers, vendors etc. Manage and coordinate crew activities ensuring goals are accomplished to meet the schedule and budget. Ensure that equipment, tools and supplies are properly managed and maintained. Must haves for this position:
Detail Oriented - thorough with all work tasks People skills and team player Organized Willingness to learn new procedures Self Motivated - Fast paced can do attitude Self-starter and teacher Ethical - Always doing the right thing and telling the truth Strong Communication skills Excellent attendance and willingness to do whatever is needed to keep up with schedule Valid drivers license required Proficient in reading site construction drawings Preferred Experience:
5 years experience in the site development industry with a focus on mass excavation Previous management experience preferred. Basic surveying knowledge.
