On.Energy We are looking for an experienced and highly organized
Safety Manager
to oversee environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance and best practices across our
data center power infrastructure projects . This position ensures that all field work—construction, electrical installation, commissioning—is conducted in full alignment with OSHA standards, local codes, and On.Energy’s internal safety programs.

Key Responsibilities
Lead site safety planning, onboarding, and daily implementation of EHS procedures on data center projects Conduct regular job site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations Develop and enforce project-specific safety plans and job hazard analyses (JHAs) Train site personnel and subcontractors on safety protocols and emergency procedures Monitor construction activities to ensure safety controls and protective measures are in place Investigate and document incidents, near-misses, and implement corrective actions Maintain all safety records, logs, permits, and reports for audits and compliance Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and contractors to ensure safety is integrated into daily operations Support safety reporting for clients and company leadership
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of safety management experience on construction or energy infrastructure projects Direct experience with data center projects, mission-critical environments, or large-scale electrical systems is preferred Certified Safety Professional (CSP), CHST, or OSHA 30/OSHA 510 certification required Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926 standards Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Ability to travel to project sites as needed (mostly within the U.S.)
